Mixed media, 10” x 24”
For Mavis, patterns and textures are intertwined. Any of the senses can process patterns. Mavis tends to visualize and touch.
She likes “busy” & “more is more” - that’s the way her mind works.
Manmade designs are usually a pattern in a predictable design.
Mavis leans towards Nature - where patterns are chaotic, never repeating, just bits and pieces.
